Udupi: MLA from Byndoor Constituency Gururaj Gantihole visited the Sowparmika riverside areas of Byndoor Taluk like Salbuda-Navunda Badakere, Maravante, Chikkalli, Padukone, Arehole, Heruru, and listened to the problems of the locals.
MLA Gururaj Gantihole visited the neighbouring affected areas and instructed the authorities to take measures as part of precautionary measures.
More than a hundred houses and agricultural lands in neighbouring affected areas are submerged every year during the rainy season, causing loss of life, livestock and agricultural wealth. The Government needs to take a permanent solution in this regard.
