Udupi: The office of MLA from Udupi Constituency K Raghupathy Bhat, was inaugurated at the Udupi Taluk Office building here on June 14.
Senior BJP leaders M Somashekar Bhat, Gujjadi Prabhakar Nayak, Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, Yashpal Suvarna, Saraswathi Barritthaya, Raghupathy’s Bhat’s mother inaugurated the office by lighting the traditional lamp.
In his tenure, he served the people of the constituency with various developments like road work, drinking water etc. Along with the then minister of the state Dr. V S Acharya, Rajathadhri, the Deputy Commissioner’s office was established at Manipal.
M Somashekar Bhat, Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, and others spoke on the occasion. Dinakar Babu, President of ZP, Udupi, Nalini Pradeep Rao, President of Udupi Taluk Panchayat, BJP councillors, Shilpa Shastri, Bhat’s wife and BJP workers and leaders were present.
