Hubballi: In a counter attack on BJP leader Jagadish Shettar’s statement that many Congress MLAs are willing to join BJP, D.K Shivkumar, speaking to reporters here at Hubballi airport on Sunday said, “Shettar must first release the list of those BJP leaders who are changing parties. Then we will release our list”.
“Shettar may be having the list of JD(S) and Congress. If he releases the list, it would benefit both. Shettar has seen Bihar and Gujarat elections. He is still living in that same imagination and that is why he is giving such statements,” he said.
“Congress will come to power once again in 2018 in the state. Jagadish Shettar will be the Opposition leader,” he said.
While commenting on ticket given to Shivramegowda in Mandya Council polls, DKS said, “In a democracy it is impossible to satisfy everyone. As per the decision by the party we have given the ticket, discontent is common,” he said.
