Hubbali: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah has confirmed that the Congress party will not go for a coalition with the Janata Dal (Secular) again.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, December 5, he said, “State rural development minister K S Eshwarappa has said that I have become power hungry and want to become the Chief Minister once again. I want to ask him when I had said this.”
“There is absolutely no question of forming an alliance with the JD(S). I have already said that, only if we get the majority in the by-polls, we will form the government. The people’s mandate is final,” he added.
Meanwhile, lashing out at the BJP, he accused them of indulging in ‘back door politics’ and having no moral rights to comment against the Opposition.
