Ballari: The resignation of MLAs from the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition government is not the effect of ‘Operation Lotus clarified Bharatiya Janata Party MLA K S Eshwarappa here on Saturday, July 6.
Speaking to media, he said, “The resignation row of MLAs from Congress and JDS has nothing to do with ‘Operation Lotus.’ I got to know of the political development only after watching the news.”
“The people, who resigned, will themselves speak out”, he added.
He opined that it might be the power of his home deity Goddess Chowdeshwari–Durgamma that the state coalition is facing such a crisis. He also went ahead and said the god might have the predicted through him that the coalition’s doom would begin from Ballari.
Meanwhile, he said that the decision on the next move would be taken by the party high command.
