Ballari: A Police inspector has been accused of harassing a woman officer sexually and mentally in Ballari.
A woman Assistant Sub-Inspector of police attached to Gandhi Nagar police station in Ballari is the victim.
The woman officer in a complaint dated June 8, to the Inspector-General of Police, Ballari range said that the accused Inspector used to speak in foul language after calling her to his office. The officer has also alleged that the Inspector has ill-treated her, threatened her of initiating sterm action if his orders are not followed by her.
However, when the sources contacted the accused Inspector, Kashinath, he clarified that the allegations leveled against him are all false. She has targeted him because he had asked the ASI to discharge her duties efficiently.
