Bidar: In a deeply concerning incident, a woman waited in the premises of Chittaguppa Hospital for an ambulance to receive emergency treatment at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Chittaguppa taluk since 8 am today. Regrettably, the hospital has been without an ambulance for emergency cases for the past two months.
Lack of Emergency Services
The hospital has been grappling with a severe lack of ambulance services, leaving patients in distress. Instead of designated emergency ambulances, insured ambulances are being utilized to transport patients, exacerbating the problem.
Patients Express Frustration
Unhappy with the situation, patients have expressed their frustration, particularly concerning the alleged explanations provided by doctors. When questioned about the unavailability of an ambulance, doctors are reportedly claiming that the ambulance is under repair, further adding to the concerns and difficulties faced by patients in urgent need of medical assistance.
