Bidar: Basava Jayanti was celebrated with great pomp by the National Basavadal in Vadagaon Village of the Taluk.
Pooja programme was held for Basaveshwara photo, statue and effigies. Basavanna’s cradle programme was performed by the women of the village at 9.00 am.
A bike rally was held in hundreds from Vadagaon to Santpur’s Anubhav Mantapa. There they garlanded the idol of Basaveshwara and chanted his praises.
