Bidar: All India Congress Committee State In-Charge Randeep Singh Surjewala said that when Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai was the Home Minister, the posts of PSI were sold out. “Who will investigate when a cat is sitting to guard milk,” he said.

He was speaking after inaugurating a meeting of District Congress workers organised at Beldale Convention Hall in Pratapnagar here on Wednesday February 22. “We are educating our children well so that they can get a good job. But, the BJP doesn’t need to read. If you pay Rs. 80 Lakh, your son will become a PSI. The ADGP is not in jail in any State in the country but the ADGP of Karnataka is in jail,” he said.

“If those who looted money are sitting on a Government post, who will investigate? The entire area was sold for a bribe,” he alleged.y

“BJP Leaders are just contractors. The contractors and the seers have made public statements in this regard. He has also lodged a complaint with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But when Modi came to Karnataka, he never spoke on this issue,” he said.

“The Congress Government will come to power in the State after the elections are held. We will soon implement the Gruhalakshmi Scheme. The head of the family will deposit Rs. 2,000 in the woman’s bank account every month.”

“Before that, workers should distribute Gruhalakshmi cards in 20 teams in each Assembly Constituency. The allotment work should be completed within 10 days. The money will be deposited directly as soon as the Government comes to power. There is no need for women to go to the Government.”

“Karnataka’s Budget is Rs. 3 Lakh Crore. The BJP is getting 40 per cent commission. If it is stopped, Rs 1.20 lakh crore will be left. Rs. 25,000 Crore will be spent under the scheme. Rs. 95,000 Crore will remain. Even if the BJP Government stops the theft, the State will develop a lot. Even if an MLA takes 1 per cent bribe during the Congress Government, he will be expelled from the party,” he said.
