Vijayapura: A few days ago, robbers, who created a stir among the public in the town, opened fire in the middle of the crowd and tried to commit the robbery, have been arrested by the police officials.
According to the complaint lodged at the jeweller’s shop, which is rented in the premises of Ashok Kamble’s Complex near Shanteshwara Matha in Sindagi Town, four unidentified persons, wearing a black mask on their faces, armed with country-made pistols and machetes in their hands, came into the shop with the intention of making a clean impression, threatened Nagaraj Eranna Pattara with a pistol and threatened him with three rounds in the air and tried to flee. Two people have been arrested.
