Bidar: State Raitha Sangha and Hasiru Sena District Unit President Mallikarjuna Swamy has warned that he will oppose the BJP’s Vijay Sankalp Rath Yatra if Union Home Minister Amit Shah does not provide Rs 100 Crore to the Bidar Cooperative Sugar Factory as promised earlier.

Speaking at a press conference he said BJP Union leader Amit Shah is coming to Bidar for the Rath Yatra. As promised by him, he should provide funds for the factory and take out the yatra.”

“The Government should waive off the entire loans of farmers. All farmers who have registered their crops under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana should be given crop damage compensation. On the Maharashtra model, the sugar factories in the District have to get a pay price of Rs 2,800 per tonne of sugarcane. For agriculture, three-phase electricity should be supplied for 12 hours during the day,” he said.

He urged the Government to buy all the grains grown by the farmers.
