Bidar: MLA Bandeppa Kashempur protest against State government

Bidar: JD (S) District unit led by Former Minister and JD (S) Core Committee President and MLA Bandeppa Kashempur, who took out a protest rally in City on Tuesday March 28 to protest against the State Government’s decision to scrap the reservation given to Muslims under 2B.

The JD (S) leaders, who started their protest from the JD (S) District Office near Ganesh Ground in City on Tuesday, took out a rally to the Deputy Commissioner’s office and submitted a memorandum written to the Governor to the Additional Deputy Commissioner.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Bandeppa Kashempur said that when Deve Gowda was the Chief Minister in 1995, the minority Muslim community was given a majority. In all 4% reservation was provided. Since then, reservation has been available till date. This BJP Government has abolished reservation, he said.

“The BJP is deceiving the Community for vote bank politics. They have cancelled the reservation implemented by Former Prime Minister Deve Gowda. This is condemnable. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai should immediately withdraw his decision to cancel minority reservation,” he said.

MLA Bandeppa Kashempur demanded that reservation for minorities should be continued as before.
