Bidar: Students of Santpur Morarji Desai Hostel in the Taluk staged a protest in front of the hostel demanding basic amenities.
Basic amenities like drinking water, toilets, food arrangements, and cleanliness, are in shambles in the hostel.
The students alleged that they were not being given proper food, not even hot water for bathing, and that the students were forced to heat water from firewood.
They said they had informed the authorities in this regard but the issue was not resolved.
The protest was led by Social Activist Ratnadeep Kasture and slogans were raised against the head of the hostel.
The protesting students warned that the authorities concerned should resolve the hostel issue and if they would be negligent, they will have to launch a fierce struggle.
