Bidar: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committe Women’s Wing President Dr. Pushpa Amarnath said, “MLA Rajashekar Patil’s contribution to the development of the Constituency is immense. Delhi model schools have been constructed to provide better education to all in the field. He has given priority to the development and beautification of villages in the constituency, including the town,” she said and further added that MLA Rajashekar Patil should be supported in the coming elections.
She was speaking at a function organised by Block Congress and Youth Congress Committee at Rajarajeswara Temple here on Sunday March 5 to mark the birth anniversary of Taluk Agricultural Produce Cooperative Marketing Society (TAPCMS) President Abhishek Patil.
Speaking on the occasion MLA Rajashekar Patil said, “If the Congress Party wins in the Assembly elections, it will provide 10 kg of rice free per person in every month under the Annabhagya scheme, 200 units of electricity free to every household, Rs. 2,000 per month to the owner of each household under the Gruhalakshmi Scheme. Therefore, she appealed to the voters to cooperate in the formation of the Congress Government.”
Around 25,000 to 30,000 women participated in the women’s day and ‘Mathru Namana programme’ at Rajarajeshwari premises in the Town. The conference was attended by thousands of women.
