Kalaburagi: In a tragic incident, CPI of Sindagi Taluk of Vijayapura District and his wife were killed on spot after container hitting their car parked on the side of the road near Nelogi Cross in Jewargi Taluk of the District on afternoon of Wednesday December 7.
The deceased have been identified as Ravi Ukkunda (43) and his wife Madhu (40).
A CPI couple, who were on their way to City from Sindagi in a car, were hit by a container. Senior Police officials rushed to the spot and a case has been registered at Nelogi Police Station.
