Addressing a press conference here, he said, “If Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah comes forward to contest from Aland, I will give up the constituency. It is enough if he files his nomination papers. It is our responsibility to win. There has been no discussion on this yet. But he wants to become the Chief Minister once again,” he said.
“So if Siddaramaiah come to Aland, I will be very happy. I am more interested in Central politics than in State politics. I have always been more inclined towards the Centre. I am in touch with National leaders. If Siddaramaiah comes to Aland, it will be easier for me to turn to the Centre,” he added.
