Kalaburagi: JD (S) State President C. M. Ibrahim said that no matter how many times Prime Minister Narendra Modi comes and goes to the State, it will be good for the JD (S).

Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday November 12, he said that the Prime Minister has been visiting the State frequently because of the urgency to tie up and strengthen the BJP within. He alleged that the installation ceremony of Kempegowda’s statue was entirely BJP-centric.

“Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda is the Supreme leader of the JD (S). Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been insulted by not being invited to the event. Adichunchanagiri Seer Sri Nirmalananda Swamiji has also been insulted,” he added.

Ibrahim said, “Prime Minister Modiji did not talk about GST hike. Issues such as price rise, rising oil prices and people’s distress were also not addressed. No new offers have been announced for the people of the State.”

He also said that he did not dedicate to the people the projects to build the country, adding that if idols are dedicated, the stomach of the people would not be filled. At least start a job-oriented business. He added something should be done to increase the economic power of the people.
