Chikkamagaluru: Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa has exuded confidence that the BJP will win 140 to 145 Assembly seats and return to power in the State in the next Assembly elections.
Speaking at the Jana Sankalpa Yatra programme at Kadur in Chikkamagaluru District on Tuesday November 15, he said that the people gathered here are a testimony to the trust reposed in Prime Minister Narendra Modiji. Elections are just four months away. BJP MLAs will be elected in large numbers across the State, including Chikkamagaluru, he said.
He recalled that several pro-people schemes had been implemented, including a loan waiver of Rs. 1 lakh, the Ayushman Yojana, the Fasal Bima Yojana, funds for the construction of Mega Film City, and compensation to BPL families whose members had died of COVID (19).
He further added, “I have helped more than 20 lakh girls by implementing the Bhagyalakshmi scheme.” “We have given extra money under the Kisan Samman Yojana. He appealed to the people to speak about this whenever and wherever possible and let the people know about it.
