Chikkamagaluru: Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy lashed out at Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar saying whether was Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi son of any farmer.
Speaking to mediapersons in Mudigere, he asked, “Is Rahul Gandhi the son of a farmer? “If no, why this reverence? Have you ever seen the Enforcement Directorate issuing notices to the children of farmer,” he asked and warned that if he spoke lightly about the JD (S), Congress would come down to 29 seats from 79 seats,” he said.
He further asked D. K. Shivakumar that what had he done as Irrigation Minister. Being a Chief Minister then he did not intervene,” he said and reminded him as to how much feeedom he had given D. K. Shivakumar when he was CM.and how DKS had treated him in turn.
“We have not come to your door, you are the one who came looking for us. You said that you will give me the CM’s post while I said I don’t want, you to make someone else as CM. What morality do you have to discuss about JD (S ),” Kumaraswamy fumed.
