Chikkamagaluru: In a tragic incident, a house caught fire at Chhatra Maidan in Mudigere Town here in the District.
During the night, while bursting crackers in the Chhatra Maidan, a rocket exploded and hit a dry cloth on the floor of a house, which caught fire and engulfed the entire house. The locals immediately swung into action and doused the fire.
It is learnt that there was no casualtybecause there was no one in the house at the time of accident.
