Chikkamagaluru: Year-end, tourists visit hill station

Chikkamagaluru: The end of the year being a weekend have made youngsters take to touring. A large number of tourists gathered at Mullayanagiri in the District.

Thousands of tourists flocked to the hill station on Saturday December 31 at 1.00 pm, more than 1,000 vehicles had arrived, causing traffic jams for kilometres on Mullayyanagiri Road.

Mullayyanagiri, Dattapeetha, Seethalayyanagiri, and Manikyadhara are flooded with tourists. Tourists from outside the State are flooded amid fears of a fourth wave of Covid.
