Ballari: After Former Minister Gali Janardhana Reddy announced the Kalyana Rajya Pragati Party, his wife Lakshmi Aruna on Sunday January 31 launched the party’s official campaign for the 2023 State Assembly elections.
The Party’s campaign was kicked off by presenting five grains, dates, coconut bowl, turmeric horn and garlic to Lakshmi Aruna at the house of Kuri Gangadhara of Kuruba Community at Benakal Village in Gangavathi Taluk of the District as per tradition.
Earlier in the day, Lakshmi Aruna, who arrived in the Village, was accorded a grand welcome with the traditional Kuruba drums. Aruna, who had darshan of Goddess Mariyamma, Goddess Durgamma and Lord Beerappa, was felicitated with blankets and lambs by some Kuruba Community women of the Village. At the same time a party flag was hoisted.
