Hassan: The Returning Officer/Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis has refused to reply to a question by the media pertaining to the submission of report to the State Election Commission regarding errors in the nomination filed for Hassan Lok Sabha constituency election by Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition candidate Prajwal Revanna.
Addressing a press meet on Saturday, May 18, she said, “I have called for a press meet to inform you about the general election vote counting on May 23 and not to discuss about Prajwal Revanna’s nomination errors.”
“The reports may or may not have reached the State Election Commission. I cannot reveal each and every detail of it to you”, she asserted.
Priyanka, later clarified that as the State Election Commission was investigating the matter, the details on it could not be revealed.
