Hassan: The Central Election Commission has announced the election date for the Karnataka Legislative Assembly on May 10 and the polling will be held in a single stage. In this context, the District Administration and the District Sveep Committee and the Arakalagudu Taluk Sveep Committee are making aware that everyone above 18 years of age should participate in the election and cast their vote compulsorily.
At Doddamma Devi Circle and A. N. K Circle of Arakalagudi, the street theatre troupe created awareness among the voters by performing bamboo dramas about voting and singing voting awareness songs.
Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer, Tahasildar, Taluk Medical Officer, Taluk Educational Officer and various Taluk level officials participated.
