Hassan: BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel-led Vijay Sankalp Yatra arrived in the City and held a massive roadshow.
The Vijay Sankalpa Yatra had arrived near the Ayyappa Swamy Temple in Arasikere Assembly constituency at 7.30 pm. Hundreds of BJP workers took out a bike rally and when the yatra came near Dr. Ambedkar Circle, Nalin Kumar Kateel offered a garland of flowers to the bronze statue of Dr. Ambedkar in the Circle and offered floral tributes, followed by the Vijay Sankalp Yatra on the National Highway.
Addressing the workers gathered at Basaveshwara Circle in the City, Nalin Kumar Kateel said, “Our leader Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given Kisan Samman Yojana to the poor and farmers, the BJP Government’s schemes like Bhagyalakshmi Yojana have reached the people. And the people of Pakistan, the enemy Country, want Narendra Modi to become other Prime Minister,” he said.
“After the BJP Government formed, JD (S) Supremo H. D. Deve Gowda and the then Congress MP Puttaswamy Gowda had said in public meetings that water could not come from any source to Arasikere Constituency, but in the State itself, Honnavalli Lift Irrigation, drinking water for Arasikere City, clean drinking water for 530 Villages in the Taluk was sanctioned during the tenure of Sadanand Gowda as Chief Minister,” he said.
“In the recently held elections in Nagaland, Tripura and Meghalaya, the BJP-led Government was formed in all the three States and thus country will soon,” he added.
