Hassan: Belur Tahasildar and the Police conducted a raid and seized gift items worth lakhs of rupees which have been brought for distribution among voters at Halebidu in Belur Taluk of the District.
BJP District President and Belur Assembly Constituency ticket aspirant Hullahalli Suresh had organised Maharudra Yaaga and Girija Kalyanotsava for two days in Halebidu and had collected gift items from a house behind the venue to distribute it among the women participating in the event.
Belur Tahasildar Mamta, Inspector Srikanth and a police team raided the house and seized silver lamps, steel boxes, gift items, and silver lamps which were kept in the house.
