Hassan: Former Minister H. D. Revanna and Bhavani Revanna officially began campaigning for the JD (S) candidate Swaroop Prakash from Hassan Assembly constituency on Wednesday April 26.
Candidate Swaroop, who started his campaign in a specially constructed JD (S) party vehicle after offering special pooja at Anjaneya Temple, the water gate of the City, was accompanied by Bhavani Revanna, H. D. Revanna, K. M. Rajegowda, C. R. Shankar, Akbar, JD (S) Taluk Unit President S. Deve Gowda, Lokesh Attavar, lawyer. Yogeesh and other leaders supported.
Hundreds of women and JD (S) workers participated in the rally.
Speaking on the occasion Bhavani Revanna said that Former Minister H. D. Revanna has made a lot of contributions for the development of Hassan District. He said that JD (S) administration is credited with many projects including engineering college, diploma college, government children’s hospital, and hi-tech hospital at the cost of hundreds of crores.
“Unlike the BJP administration the JD (S) has not done any hard work in the City. He appealed to vote for JD (S) party for the complete development of Hassan District and to win Swaroop Prakash in Hassan Assembly constituency. The rally started from Anjaneya Temple and passed through N. R. Circle, after Hemavati statue, along important roads including R. C. Road and canvassed for Swaroop.
