Hassan: A meeting of JD (S ) Leaders has been convened at Former Prime Minister Deve Gowda’s residence on Saturday April 1 as the JD (S ) ticket distribution for Hassan Assembly constituency continues to be a bone of contention.
Deve Gowda himself has convened a meeting at his Padmanabhanagara residence in Bengaluru to seek inputs from all the leaders on ticket distribution.
Swaroop Prakash, son of Former MLA late H. S. Prakash, and Bhavani Revanna are locked in a bitter battle for the JD (S) ticket from Hassan Assembly Constituency.
Over the past few days, the JD (S) ticket issue in Hassan Assembly constituency has witnessed a lot of developments, with differences in Deve Gowda’s family at an eruption.
Former Minister H. D. Revanna, MP Prajwal Revanna and MLC Suraj Revanna are among those who have been demanding a ticket for Bhavani Revanna.
As a result, the JD(S)’ Pancharatna Yatra in Hassan Assembly Constituency has also ended without taking place.
