Hassan: Unauthorised electricity connection, houses raided

Hassan: Based on a tip-off, the Chamundeshwari Electric Supply Corporation (CESC) vigilance team has traced the houses of those who were getting electricity connections unauthorised way without obtaining any licence and simultaneously raided them and registered a case against them.

Jayavibhavaswamy Managing Director CESC Mysuru, Rupa Reddy IPS Superintendent of Police, CESC Vigilance Squad Mysuru and Sunil Superintending Engineer CESC Hassan Circle under the guidance of Managing Director CESC Mysuru, Dharmendra Deputy Superintendent of Police CESC Vigilance, Mysuru and Police Personnel of CESC Hassan, Mandya, Mysuru, Madikeri, Chamarajanagar and Madikeri CESC under the leadership of Tabassum Engineer (V), CESC Vigilance Squad, Mysuru conducted simultaneous raids in Arasikere Taluk of Hassan District. They traced the accused who had obtained direct electricity connection unauthorised way.

The unauthorised connections were causing loss to the Department and thus cases of power theft has been registered at Hassan CESC Vigilance Police Station
