Shivamogga: “In the five-state exit polls, Modi has experienced a major setback. ‘Bhaiyon or Behenon’ (brothers and sisters) speech has pushed the people to boredom”, said former MLA Belur Gopalkrishna, here on Saturday, December 8.
Addressing a press meet he said, “PM Modi has achieved nothing in these four years. The exit polls are out and the Bharatiya Janata Party has experienced a setback.”
“Even when their party leaders had visited the drought-hit areas, instead of responding to those affected people, they spoke about this coalition government getting dissolved”, he added.
“The coalition government is rock hard and no one can shake it, not even the BJP. As the 2019 Lok Sabha elections are closing in, Eshwarappa and B S Yeddyurappa have understood the importance of Brahmin community”, stated Belur.
Commenting on “Operation Kamala”, Belur said, “Five of the BJP MLAs are ready to defect to our side. They have also spoken to Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.”
“It is evident that they will join the coalition and I’ll not spill the beans now on who is joining. You will come to know, once they join us”, added Belur.
