Shivamogga: In a shocking incident, a passenger slipped and fell down while boarding the Mysuru – Talaguppa train. The incident took place at Shivamogga Railway Station on Saturday December 10 which was captured on CCTV.
The person was saved by railway Railway Police Force Personnel Manjunath and Annappa on noticing the passengers falling down. Later, the public also joined hands with the officials. The Mysuru Division Railway Division posted the video on Twitter.
Dilip Kumar Ghatke (59), who was supposed to go to Mysuru from Shivamogga along with his family on train number 16221 leaving Shivamogga at 11.15 am on Saturday had bought a ticket and had gone to get breakfast from a shop at the Railway Station. While boarding the train, he slipped and fell down shows the viral video.
But luckily, Dilip Kumar, who fell down, is safe. Also RPF Constables Manjunath and Annappa immediately called the guard and stopped the train. He was then dragged to the platform and given first aid. Also he was then sent to Mysuru in the same train. Dilip Kumar is a resident of Rajendra Nagara.
The RPF has appealed to passengers not to board a moving train.
