Shivamogga: An Air Force Aircraft from Delhi conducted a run-by test at Shivamogga Airport. Different types of landings, and take-offs were done.
As soon as it landed at Shivamogga Airport in the afternoon an Air Force Boeing Aircraft was given a water salute. A few moments later, the plane took off again.
A 3-km runway (Run Way Test) has been done at Shivamogga Airport. It is considered as the longest runway in the State. The Air Force Aircraft carried out the test using the entire runway.
It also included experimentation with a variety of landings. Touch and Go related tests were also done. Later, the flight took off for Delhi.
