Chikkamagaluru: MLC S. L. Bhojegowda said that in view of the commencement of the Ratha Yatra of Pancharatna Project in Chikkamagaluru District on February 25, 26 and 28, the party workers and leaders should work with utmost agility to welcome the Ratha Yatra in a grand manner.
Addressing a preliminary meeting on Pancharatna Project at JD (S) Office in the City on Sunday February 19, he said that in view of the Ratha Yatra arriving in the District, the presidents and leaders of the respective constituencies should join hands to make the Ratha Yatra a success.
The Ratha Yatra, led by H. D. Kumaraswamy, has already travelled in 70 constituencies across the State and will make its debut in the District from Sringeri through darshan of Sringeri Sri Sharadambe in the first phase from February 25 to 26 and on February 28 in Chikkamagaluru Constituency in the second phase.
He said that the Pancharatna Project, which will start from Sringeri in the District, will then reach Chikkamagaluru Constituency in the day and take out a procession on the main roads and hold a public meeting.
Presiding over the meeting, Party District President Ranjan Ajith Kumar said that Pancharatna Yatra will be taken out in District and a large number of workers, leaders and fans are expected to arrive in Mudigere, Kadur and Tarikere areas, he said.
