Shivamogga: Tamil anthem played at BJP convention

Shivamogga: In a shocking incident, Tamil anthem song was played at the Tamil Samaj Sammelan organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the District.

The incident took place at a rally led by Former IPS Officer Annamalai, who is co-in-charge of Karnataka for the Assembly elections.

Before the start of the conference, the audio of the Tamil anthem was played. As the organisers aired the song, leaders and activists stood up and paid their respects. Eshwarappa, a former minister also asked that is there anyone who knows to sing the anthem can sing. The tamil anthem being played for sometime seems to have led to a controversy.

Eshwarappa has come forward to control the damage by playing the Kannada anthem.

Former Minister K. S. Eshwarappa and BJP Candidate S. N. Channabasappa were present at the rally.
