Shivamogga: Wild elephant spotted again, leaves people panicky

Shivamogga: A wild elephant was spotted by a local resident at Kuruvalli in Ward 14 of Theerthahalli Town at around 3.30 am on Saturday December 31.

Two days ago, Shadgar was spotted near Kattahaklu, but it is being speculated that the same elephant may have come to this end.

According to locals, the busted on the Kuruvalli Main Road on the Theerthahalli-Koppa-Sringeri route on NH – 169, crushed the name board of a shop and reached the banks of Tunga River near Buklapura.

Forest Department Officials including locals, are now on the lookout for the elephant.
