Shivamogga: A youth, who was injured in a knife attack near BH Road in the City on October 23, succumbed to his injuries at Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru on Saturday November 19.
Irfan (28), a resident of Jannat Nagar had stabbed 20-year-old Shakeel in the stomach over a trivial issue. Shakeel, who sustained injuries, was rushed to Sagar Sub-Divisional Hospital and later shifted to Shivamoga District McGANN Teaching District Hospital for further treatment.
Shakeel breathed his last at Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru. The accused, Irfan, was arrested on the day of the incident and remanded to judicial custody.
