Mangaluru: To commemorate Plastic Surgery Day on 15th July, the Department of Plastic Surgery at Father Muller Medical College, Mangaluru, organised a Plastic Surgery Quiz on 22nd July 2025. The initiative aimed to enhance awareness and foster interest in the evolving field of plastic surgery among medical students and residents.

The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising knowledge and progress, in the presence of the distinguished guest Dr. B M Venkatesh, Vice Dean of the institution. He was joined by Dr. Aravind L, Head of the Department and Professor of Plastic Surgery, and Dr. Karthik Aithal, Assistant Professor, who represented the organising department.
