Mangaluru: Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, in collaboration with the Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region), Chennai, and the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka, will host a major centralised walk-in interview and job fair at its campus on Friday, 5 December 2025. The initiative is aimed at providing employment and apprenticeship opportunities for graduates, engineers and diploma holders across multiple disciplines.

A major recruitment platform for fresh graduates

The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR), an autonomous body under the Department of Higher Education, Government of India, oversees practical training opportunities for graduates and diploma holders. The scheme, introduced by the Ministry of Education, aims to enhance employability through structured industrial training.

This year’s job fair at Sahyadri will feature more than 10 companies offering full-time regular positions and apprenticeship roles.
