A team of Lokayukta officers from Mangaluru and Chikkaballapur conducted early morning raids on Thursday at the residence and office of Krishnaveni, a Mines and Geology department officer. The officers arrived in three vehicles at an apartment complex in Valencia, where Krishnaveni resides, and carried out a detailed inspection of her home.
At the same time, the team raided her office in Mallikatte, where she had recently assumed charge two months ago following her transfer to Mangaluru. The operation, led by Lokayukta SP Natraj, is aimed at examining documents and uncovering any illicit assets linked to Krishnaveni’s official position.
