Mangaluru — Police have arrested a 35-year-old man, Badruddin of Vamanjoor, for allegedly peddling ganja from an auto-rickshaw near Mangala Jyothi Junction under Mangaluru Rural Police Station limits on Thursday.
Officers seized 2 kg of ganja, ₹20,000 in cash, a mobile phone, and the auto-rickshaw used in the illegal trade.
The operation was led by Mangaluru Rural Police Inspector Gaviraju R.P., assisted by SI Arun Kumar D., head constables Kamalaksha, Shashidhar, Shankrappa, and constables Sikandar, Birendra, and Pradeep.
