Mangaluru police successfully located a 13-year-old girl who went missing from her home near Bikarnakatte late on Saturday night.
The incident was reported at approximately 10 PM when the girl’s parents, unable to find her, alerted the police by dialing 112. Acting promptly, a police team arrived at the scene and initiated a search.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Sidharth Goyal stated that an FIR was registered without delay, and officers were deployed to track the child. Within a few hours, she was discovered in an under-construction house near her family’s residence, where they were working.
The girl was safely reunited with her family. Authorities credited the swift response and coordinated efforts for the successful resolution.
