A scooter rider narrowly avoided a major mishap when a private bus rear-ended their vehicle at Lalbagh Junction on Thursday.
The incident unfolded as the scooterist was heading from the KSRTC bus terminal toward Ladyhill Circle. The bus, following closely behind, failed to stop in time and struck the scooter. Despite the driver making an abrupt attempt to halt, the back portion of the scooter slid under the bus’s tyre.
Remarkably, the rider managed to escape the accident without any injuries. Witnesses at the scene described the close call as a miracle, considering the impact and proximity of the bus.
The incident underscores the need for maintaining safe distances between vehicles and staying alert on busy roads.
