Mysuru: BJP members including former minister S A Ramdas were aware of demonetisation well in advance, said Congress spokesperson Brijesh Kalappa.
Addressing the media persons at Jaladarshini Guest House here on Wednesday he said, “The BJP members were well aware of demonetisation. Former minister S A Ramdas, who is also the president of RBI Workers’ Union in Mysuru, openly told on November 10 that he knew about the printing of new notes. Through demonetisation BJP has benefited the most and the poor and middle class people are made to suffer a lot. BJP led central government which speaks about corruption is not having the courage to question Janardhan Reddy who is celebrating his daughter’s marriage by spending Rs 500 Crore”.
On Congress leaders attending Reddy’s daughter’s wedding, he said, “We can’t restrict anyone from attending a wedding. It is all about the personal relationship they have with him,” he told.
Regarding Primary Education Minister Tanveer Sait’s controversy he said, “I have gone through the video clippings, Tanveer is just scrolling and nowhere is he seen zooming and seeing the pictures”
