Mysuru: The Aam Admi Party held, a condolence meet here at Gandhi square, to mourn the demise of ‘Acche Din’,in the city and criticized the Prime Minister Modi led BJP government for its failure to fulfill the assurance given by the PM on that count.

‘Acche Din’ has arrived for business tycoons who had funded for Modi during elections. Party leader Vidyaranya speaking on the occasion said, “In the last one year, the government has failed to check price rise, improve employment generation, bring black money back, deposit Rs 15 lakh in the bank account of every citizen, increase MRP of agriculture produce, deal firmly with terrorism as well as with Pakistan and China as it had promised before elections.”

“’Acche Din’will only benefit Modi’s ‘industrial friends’ and cripple 60 percent of the population. The land bill ordinance, as one of the biggest undertakings of the Modi government, proposes to exempt key projects in defence, rural infrastructure, housing projects and industrial projects from the previous rule of the minimum 80 percent vote of consent of the land owners. This means that infrastructural firms could easily seize fertile farm land under the bill.”

AAP leaders Malavika, M V Padmamma, Gagan marigowda, Sajida Bhanu and many others were present.
