Mysuru: Six persons were killed on the spot and nearly 30 injured when a bus in which they were travelling collided with another bus and a car at Mysuru-T Narasipur Road here on March 14.
The accident occurred near a big banyan tree in Chikkalli village limits. Four car passengers are among the deceased. Udayaranga Travels bus driver and a passenger too were killed in the mishap. About 30 people have been injured.
The mishap took place when both Udayaranga and DPS private buses tried to overtake each other on their way to Mysuru.
All the injured have been shifted to K R Hospital for treatment.
Siddharthanagar Traffic Police are investigating further.
