Mysuru: On day one of the filing of candidature for by-elections to Nanjangud and Gundlupet Assembly constituencies, not a single nomination paper was filed!
On Tuesday, the by-election notification was issued and arrangements were made at old taluk office in Nanjangud for receiving the nominations. However, on the first day not a single nomination was filed by the aspiring candidates from Nanjangud Assembly constituency.
The nomination forms were distributed at the taluk office and the filled in nominations with the documents must be submitted on or before the March 21 and no nominations will be received on Sundays.
