Chamarajanagara: MLA C. S. Niranjan Kumar has said that Rs. 50 lakh each has been sanctioned for the construction of roads and drains in 50 villages in Gundlupete Taluk of the District by giving priority to all communities in terms of development.
He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for the construction of roads and drains on the general category street at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh which has been sanctioned by the Panchayat Raj Engineering Department at Padugur Village in Gundlupete.”It is sad that even after 75 years of independence,” he noted.
“Most of the villages in the District do not have basic amenities. So the question is, what was the previous people’s representative doing for 25 years?,” he said.
