Chamarajanagara: Even after 27 years of being a District, the District Headquarters has completely failed to grow into a better City and this time give your votes to the BJP and I will build a model City in five years, said BJP Candidate and District In-Charge Minister V. Somanna.
Somanna held a roadshow in 31 wards of the City along with party CMC Presidents, Members and Party Office-bearers and leaders. He addressed voters at important circles.
As Somanna arrived in the wards and layouts, residents garlanded him with huge garlands and offered sweets. They participated in roadshows and raised pro-BJP slogans.
“After the construction of a college hospital of the Government Institute of Medical Sciences on the outskirts of the City, the District hospital in the heart of the City was shifted there. As a result, people in the City have to travel 5 to 6 kms for minor health issues. They had to go to the distant hospital or they would go to private clinics. As soon as this problem came to my notice, within a week, I shifted the District Hospital to the old building and facilitated thousands of people,” he said.
