Chamarajanagara: Kannada Andolana Vatal Paksha President and Former MLA Vatal Nagaraj has demanded the resignation of Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar in connection with the death of two children and a woman at a Government Hospital in Tumakuru District.

Speaking at a protest along with his supporters demanding holistic development of Chamarajanagara in front of the District Administration Bhavan here, he said that it would be an honour if the Health Minister resigns in connection with the death of two children and a woman at the District Government Hospital. The incident is tragic and there should be a high level probe into it,” he said.

“Hospitals in the State should always be ready to serve the people. Hospitals should be for the people. The Government should set up a high standard as far as hospitals are concerned. We hear about deaths due to negligence in hospitals, which is a sad state of affair, he rued.
