He was speaking at a door-to-door campaign in Mallayyanapura and Punyadahundi villages. “There is a pro-Congress wave in the State. Even if we look at the reports of many opinion polls, there is a possibility that the Congress party will get a clear majority. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been coming to Karnataka time and again with the intention of coming back to power in the State. It is learnt that he will come for election campaigning 20 times. The people of our State are not stupid. The BJP has seen corrupt governance. Therefore, the Congress party will win,” he said.
“The Congress has already announced tickets for four constituencies in the District. We have also started campaigning for Congress candidates. However, some parties still counting on announcing tickets. This means that the top brass of those parties seems to think that none of them will win,” he said.
